Leexi + Proton Meet integration overview

The integration lets the Leexi assistant join your meetings on Proton Meet, Proton's end-to-end encrypted video conferencing, to record them automatically. It joins as a guest: no Proton account is needed.

From that recording, Leexi gives you a full transcript, a clear summary, a list of follow-up tasks, advanced analytics and much more.

The best part? It's all automatic! Once Leexi is connected to your Google or Outlook calendar, your assistant detects your Proton Meet meetings and joins them to take notes for you.

How to connect Proton Meet to Leexi

Step 1: Activate a calendar integration

Activate the Google Calendar or Outlook integration from your Leexi integrations. This is how Leexi knows which meetings to send the assistant to.

(Availability depends on your plan: check it under Settings > General > Integrations.)

Step 2: Share the full meeting link

Paste the full invitation link into the event description or location, in the form https://meet.proton.me/join/id-ABCD1234#pwd-secret42.

The #pwd-… part holds the meeting key: without it, the assistant cannot get in.

Step 3: Let the assistant join your meetings

As soon as a Proton Meet link appears in a calendar event, the meeting is recognized automatically and the assistant is sent to record it.

Step 4: Admit the assistant if your meeting has a waiting room

If the waiting room is off, the assistant joins on its own. If it is on, the assistant asks to join and waits up to 9 minutes: admit it so it can start recording. Proton Meet cancels an unanswered request after 5 minutes; the assistant then automatically sends a new one.

Going further

• Pause the recording: type /pause in the meeting chat, then /resume to start again. The assistant confirms the pause and the resume in the chat.
• Transparency for your participants: when it joins, the assistant posts a disclaimer message in the meeting chat.
• An identifiable presence: the assistant's camera shows a tile in your profile colors.

Things to keep in mind

• A link missing its #pwd-… part, or with a wrong one, does not let the assistant into the meeting.
• Proton Meet cannot be hosted on another domain: only meet.proton.me links are detected.
