Overview of the Leexi + Zoom integration

The integration allows the Leexi assistant to record your Zoom meetings by joining the call. From this recording, Leexi provides you with a complete transcription of your meeting, a summary, a list of follow-up tasks, a translation, advanced statistics, and a host of other exciting features! And the best part? It’s all automatic! By connecting Leexi to your Google or Outlook calendar, your assistant accesses and connects to your meetings automatically to take notes on your behalf.

How to integrate Zoom and Leexi?

Step 1:

Activate a calendar integration

Leexi only requires an active calendar integration to know which meetings to send the Zoom assistant to.

Go to https://app.leexi.ai/en/settings/my_integrations, and activate the Google Calendar or Outlook integration.

Note: The meeting assistant requests the permission of the meeting organizer before starting the recording. If this permission is not granted, the assistant will leave the meeting.

Step 2:

Activate the Zoom integration

By default, the Zoom assistant will need to request permission to record from the meeting owner each time it joins a meeting. If the host uses the Zoom web client, they will not be able to grant this permission.

By activating the Zoom integration, you will allow the Zoom assistant to record your meetings without asking for permission. This requires a paid Zoom account. Go to https://app.leexi.ai/en/settings/my_integrations, and activate the Zoom integration.

Make sure your Zoom account is properly configured: under Settings → Recording, the settings "Record on the computer's files" and "Hosts can give meeting participants permission to record locally" must be enabled (this is the default setting).
